A plunge saw is the ideal tool when accuracy is critical. Unlike conventional circular saws, the PL55’s plunge function allows the blade to start cutting at any point on the workpiece - perfect for creating cut-outs in kitchen worktops for sinks or hobs. The PL55 also excels at cutting shadow gaps up to 16 mm. After laying flooring, simply run the saw along the wall edge - eliminating the need for precise pre-installation measurements. The integrated splinter guard ensures clean results, even on delicate surfaces like veneered ceiling panels.

Its stepless tilt adjustment allows for cuts between 0° and 45°, with tilt protection keeping the saw stable on the guide rail. At 45°, it still achieves an impressive 41 mm cutting depth. The 160 mm, 24-tooth blade is ideal for cutting hardwoods, softwoods, MDF, plywood, chipboard, and coated panels.
