This combination planer includes a surface planer function to flatten warped or uneven timber. The workpiece is smoothly guided over the aluminium table, while two durable HS planing knives remove up to 2.5 mm of material in a single pass. The 635 mm long fence supports accurate dressing at 90° or angled up to 135°, ensuring consistent and square finishes.

Once dressed, the timber moves to the thicknesser, which features an automatic infeed system operating at 7.2 m/min. It handles workpieces up to 252 mm wide and 120 mm high, making it suitable for a variety of woodworking applications. A manual hand crank enables fine-tuned height adjustment, ensuring even results across multiple passes.

The 1500 W motor powers the machine at a rapid 8,500 rpm, delivering smooth and efficient performance with minimal vibration. Rubber feet help dampen noise and movement, allowing for steady, controlled operation throughout your work session.

Fitted with two carbide knives for both dressing and planing, the HMS1070 is well-suited for regular use.
