The grinder features a 150 mm, 36-grit whetstone for metalwork, operating at 23 m/s for effective shaping and sharpening. The 20 mm wide stone includes an adjustable workpiece rest for added control, along with a spark guard and protective cover for user safety. To maintain performance, the included disc puller allows you to smooth grooves in the grinding wheel after heavy use.
For metalwork that generates heat, the BGS700 includes a built-in cooling water reservoir—perfect for dipping workpieces to prevent overheating or tempering. A flexible, adjustable work light ensures you always have a clear view of your work area for greater precision.
The 50 x 686 mm sanding belt runs at a constant 15 m/s and is ideal for wood sanding. An adjustable support helps guide the workpiece evenly, and the belt can be easily replaced by loosening two screws—keeping downtime to a minimum.
